Jobs?

It's often helpful to put jobs into categories or families. Knowing about these job families, often called sectors, can help you to work out the type of job you want and the courses and qualifications you might need.

For example, you probably wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Hair and Beauty sector is about cutting, styling and treating hair, giving face and body beauty treatments and applying cosmetics. The kind of jobs you would expect in this sector would be barber, hairdresser, beauty therapist, etc and the kind of courses include Hairdressing, Hair and Beauty, Beauty Therapy, etc.
