Hair and Beauty
As you would expect, hairdressers and barbers cut, style and treat hair. Beauty Therapists give face and body beauty treatments and apply cosmetics. Beauty Consultants sell cosmetics and beauty products in shops and department stores. Apart from hair and beauty salons on the high street, you can also find jobs in hotels, leisure clubs or department stores. Working in close contact with the general public is the key feature of all of these types of work and anyone thinking about them should be comfortable with this.
