Hospitality and Catering

Job CateringCatering is about preparing, cooking and presenting food. You could work in any one of a number of places from the kitchens of a five-star hotel to the more down-to-earth surroundings of a fast food restaurant, cafeteria or sandwich bar.
Hospitality means looking after people who are guests. In a hotel, restaurant or a pub this can involve providing a number of different services such as arranging accommodation or serving food and drink. Although most jobs in hospitality are in hotels, restaurants and pubs, hospitality services are an important part of conference centres, health and leisure clubs, hospitals, and even on ferries and aeroplanes.
